As part of BP’s partnership with Glasgow 2014, the BP Young Leaders Programme 2014 is a mentoring scheme for 65 young people aged between 17-21 to help give them the chance to develop skills that will make them more employable.The Young Leaders will take part in a number of projects in their local communities reflecting BP’s commitment to Scotland, their Glasgow 2014 partnership and the Games legacy.

The BP Young Leaders Programme 2014 will begin in September 2013, and conclude in March 2015.

BP is leading the BP Young Leaders Programme 2014 in conjunction with Inspiring Scotland and the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, working with Action For Children, Aberdeen Foyer, and a consortium of Shetland Islands Council with Moving On Employability Project, Voluntary Action Shetland and the Bridges Project.

The young people will be mentored during the project by BP employees and supported by athlete mentors from the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.
